Health services committee of the public service commission says NO decision has been taken to reinstate Dr. Shafi Shihabdeen who is on compulsory leave, reports Hiru News.
On December 16th, Media reported that the Health Ministry has decided to reinstate Dr. Shafi Shihabdeen of the Kurunegala Hospital who was sent on compulsory leave on allegations of performing illegal sterilization operations. Also the Ministry has decided to pay arrears of his salary for the period he was sent on compulsory leave.
