Price of imported milk powder 400g packet increased to Rs 1,020 reports Hirunews.
Milk powder companies have taken steps to increase the prices of imported milk powder and infant milk powder. The price of a milk powder kilogram packet has been increased to Rs. 2,545 and the price of a 400 gram packet of milk powder increqsed to Rs. 1,020.
Meanwhile, it is reported that a 400 gram packet of infant milk powder has been increased by Rs. 1000.
The control price for milk powder has been removed, hence the milk powder companies can increase the price at will. (LankaXpress.com)
