The official website of Sri Lanka’s Meteorology Department, meteo.gov.lk, has reportedly come under another cyberattack, marking the fourth incident within 30 days. Users attempting to access the site are being redirected to an unauthorized external website, raising concerns over the security of government digital infrastructure.

The latest attack occurred on December 4, following similar incidents on November 12, 23, and 30. Despite previous efforts to address the breaches, the recurring nature of these cyberattacks highlights the urgency of implementing robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard critical online platforms.
