Sri Lanka government considers to issue a Vaccination Card and make it mandatory for public.

The government has fulfilled its responsibility to purchase and import the vaccines. The President said that it was the duty of the people to act in a manner that would prevent the spread of the disease and to get the vaccine expeditiously. The COVID19 Task Force focused on making it mandatory for people visiting government institutions and public places in the future to have a card certifying that they have been vaccinated.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa directs health authorities to carry out an islandwide survey of those who have still not been vaccinated against Covid-19.
