As the heatwave continues to grip the nation, health officials are urging caution, particularly among children, athletes, and those spending significant time outdoors. Temperature records of several districts projected to exceed 32°C. Trincomalee may soar to a scorching 37°C, while Anuradhapura and Ratnapura are set to reach 36°C. Jaffna temperature is expected at 34°C.
