Foreign Investors Explore Marine Investment Opportunities at Colombo Port and Port City

Coinciding with the Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 Marine Summit, a delegation of 10 foreign investors from India, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman toured the Colombo Port and Port City on October 15.

The visit aimed to highlight Sri Lanka’s potential as a regional hub for marine services and attract investment in key sectors such as offshore services, marine engineering, and boat manufacturing. Organized by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB) in collaboration with key marine industry stakeholders, the Voyage Sri Lanka 2025 Marine Summit will take place on October 16 at The Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo.

The summit emphasizes Sri Lanka’s growing role in the global blue economy, showcasing expertise in marine, aquaculture, and shipbuilding industries. It also brings together local and international participants to discuss sustainable practices, new technologies, and investment opportunities in the marine sector.
