FIFA and AFC Approve Sri Lanka’s World Cup Draw Inclusion on Strict Conditions

FIFA and AFC has approved and included “Sri Lanka” to the official World Cup draw on strict conditional basis. The official update is now sent for the last elected President and its committee.

The World Cup qualification match will be played on the 12th and 17th October 2023. Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) needs to conduct its election at least 10 days before this World Cup match, otherwise, FIFA will Not allow Sri Lanka to play the qualifiers.
