Randimal Gamage, a member of the “Aragalaya”, who forcefully entered the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation SLRC and was arrested upon arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) from Dubai earlier today, granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court.
Randimal Gamage, a frontline activist of the ‘Aragalaya’ protest movement, was arrested at the BIA this morning (05 Jan.).
On 9 July 2022, anti-government protesters stormed into the state-owned media institution, forcing them to suspend transmission for a short period of time.
