Police officers of the Southern Crime Division of the Western Province have arrested six suspects wanted for damaging a house and property belonging to MP Premanath C. Dolawatta on May 9th.
The arrested suspects are aged 19, 20, 24 and 29 are residents of Welivita and Homagama areas.
The suspects are scheduled to appear in Kaduwela magistrate’s court on August 27 and the Southern Crime Division of the Western Province is conducting further investigations.
In addition, two suspects who were wanted for attacking and damaging a vehicle belonging to Sumith Udukumbura, a Member of Parliament, have been arrested by the Kurunegala Division Criminal Investigation Department officers.
