A collection of trade unions have decided to declare the April 20th as a national day of protest and to mobilize the working masses who will continue to strike in the workplace.

Ravi Kumudesh, president of the Medical Laboratory Technologists Association says all trade unions in Sri Lanka are working together with the collective.

Ravi Kumudesh further says that the trade unions and the mass organizations had decided to make an unconditional contribution to the victory of the people’s struggle.
