Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe said during a meeting with health officials that in the recruitment of nurses, regulations should be changed to accommodate those qualified in arts subjects to also be considered for training.
By expanding the eligibility criteria, Sri Lanka seeks to tap into a wider pool of potential nursing candidates and provide opportunities for arts stream A/L students.
