# Weather Forecast for February 12

Showers will occur at times in Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in Hambantota and Matale districts. Fairly heavy showers **above 75mm **can be expected at some places in Northern, North-Central and Eastern provinces.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night. Fairly heavy showers **above 50mm** can be expected at some places.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
