# Rainy weather condition to continue

Due to the low-level atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, showery condition is expected to be continue further. Heavy showers about **100mm** are likely at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Eastern provinces. Maximum Rainfall of 90.4mm reported in Bibila area ( Monaragala ).

**Winds:**

Winds will be south-westerly or variable and wind speed will be **(20-30)** **kmph.**

**State of Sea:**

The sea areas around the island will be slight.**Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.**

May 15 Forecast

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in most provinces of the island after 1.00 p.m on May 15th. Heavy showers **about 100mm** are likely at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Eastern provinces. Showers may occur in Western and Southern coastal areas during the morning too.
